Provence Academics has scheduled a Fall camp combining an academic program including language instruction in either French, German, or English, multi-subject academics, expository writing activities, and a French-American Halloween celebration for the last week in October. All language instruction is conducted by native speaking, experienced teachers. Students will write expository paragraphs related to science activities and as the week progresses we will prepare for a party and trick-or-treat on Halloween Night with art activities, decorations, and costume creation. The session will focus first on life science activities enhanced by exploring different ecosystems in the countryside surrounding the camp property and village of Besse sur Issole, and will finish with Halloween activities and a real American-style Halloween party. Afternoons will be devoted to sports, horseback riding, and hiking. Halloween day will also include a private train ride and Pumpkin carving.
